Colleges and Universities

The FUHS Theatre Program is designed to give students the tools they need to pursue an advanced education in the arts. 

Students are encouraged to attend college or university programs to attain advanced degrees in Acting/Performance, Playwriting, Stage Management, Technical Design (Lighting, Sound, Costumes, Sets, etc.), Theatre Education, and more!

International Thespian Festival

The summer after junior year, rising seniors have the opportunity to attend the International Thespian Festival at Indiana University, Bloomington. At this festival, students have the opportunity to interview with and audition for top theatre schools in the country, impressing college recruiters with monologues, solo musical theatre performances, and/or technical theatre portfolio presentations. Students are able to form relationships with program heads, professors, and recruiters, and students will often receive scholarships and financial aid offers.
